Just as we blend creativity with strategy to create stunning designs, we've curated this palette of frequently asked questions to give you a clear picture of our services, process, and expertise. Whether you're curious about our approach to brand identity, wondering about our design workflow, or have questions about pricing and support, you'll find vibrant answers below. Dive into our colourful world of creativity and let's bring your vision to life!

  • To understand your brand and vision, we start by talking with you directly. We’ll ask about your business, values, and goals. We’ll also look at your current materials and competitors - sometimes we'll have brainstorming sessions to explore ideas together. We’ll then research your industry to get context. This helps us grasp not just what you want, but what you need to stand out. Throughout the process, we keep communication open, encouraging feedback to ensure we're on the right track. Our aim is to really get to know the brand so we can create designs that truly represent it.

  • Our design process starts with internal brainstorming after we understand your needs. We then present a few strong concepts to you, explaining our thinking behind each. We carefully listen to your feedback on these ideas and use it to refine the chosen concept or merge elements from different designs. We go through rounds of revisions, making adjustments and presenting updated versions for your review. Once we're close to the final design, we make any last minor tweaks you request. Throughout this process, we keep communication open and welcome your input. When you're fully satisfied, we deliver the final files in the formats you need. This approach allows us to create designs that truly meet your vision while keeping you involved every step of the way.

  • We’ve successfully completed a diverse array of projects for a variety of clients at Whitewater. You can explore our extensive Portfolio here, which showcases our expertise in Print Design, Artworking, Digital Design, Brand Identity, Brand Strategy, Photography, Video, and Animation. Notable clients we’ve collaborated with include Giorgio Armani, Prada, L’Oreal, Urban Decay, Lancome, Watermans, and Dr Sam’s.

If you don't find exactly what you're looking for in our portfolio, please get in touch. We'd be happy to discuss your specific needs and explore how we can tailor our services to meet your goals.

  • To ensure that our designs align with your target audience and brand identity, at Whitewater Creative, we place a strong emphasis on conducting thorough research and understanding your brand’s values, aesthetics, and the preferences of your target demographic. By immersing ourselves in your brand and audience, we can create designs that resonate with your customers and authentically represent your brand. This approach allows us to tailor our designs to effectively communicate your message and connect with your audience on a deeper level.

  • The timeline for completing a project varies depending on its complexity. At Whitewater, we prioritise efficiency without compromising on quality. If you have an urgent request, please contact us, and we'll do our best to accommodate it. For example, simple projects like business cards can take as little as an hour, while more complex undertakings, such as a full brand strategy, may take several weeks. We believe in taking the necessary time to ensure creativity and quality. To help us with the process, please provide all required materials at the start, such as logos, brand colours, and photography. Additionally, a detailed brief is invaluable—while we are creative problem solvers, we are not mind readers! Let us know exactly what you’re thinking with clear communication of your vision and requirements and this will significantly speed up the process.

We look forward to collaborating with you to bring your project to life.

  • Handling feedback and revisions during the design process is key. We’re all about being open to suggestions and making those tweaks to get things just right. Feedback from our clients is super valuable to us; it helps us to fine-tune the designs to match your vision perfectly. Revisions are totally normal in the creative process, and we’re here to collaborate with you every step of the way to ensure you’re absolutely thrilled with the final result. Just share your thoughts and we’ll make it happen!

  • Our pricing structure and payment terms are designed to provide flexibility and clarity for our clients. For first-time projects, we operate on a payment-upon-completion basis, with the invoice due immediately after the job is finished. This allows new clients to assess our work quality before committing to payment. For ongoing partnerships, we offer more lenient terms, with invoices payable within 30 days of issuance. We pride ourselves on our willingness to create customised rate cards tailored to each client's specific needs and budget. A key differentiator in our pricing approach is our clear distinction between Art Working and Design services. This separation ensures transparent billing, allowing clients to understand exactly what they're paying for and preventing any confusion between these two distinct skill sets. By clearly delineating these services, we provide our clients with a more accurate and fair pricing structure, reflecting the different levels of expertise and time investment required for each type of work.

  • Absolutely! We pride ourselves on building lasting connections with our clients. At the end of a project, we will transfer all design materials to you, ready for print or digital use. We also offer post-project support and maintenance services to ensure your continued satisfaction. If you have any further requirements, questions, or concerns after the project is completed, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We're here to help!

  • To stay updated on design trends and industry best practices, we make it a habit to regularly browse design blogs and magazines. We also spend time looking at current design work online for inspiration. Chatting with other designers and sharing ideas helps us stay in the loop. In our free time, we like to practise new techniques to keep our skills sharp. Most importantly, we pay close attention to what our clients like and want, as this often reflects broader trends in the industry. This mix of activities helps us stay current and deliver fresh, relevant designs to our clients.

  • Here’s a step-by-step guide from the initial consultation to the final deliverables:

    1. Initial Contact: Reach out to us via email, phone, or the message form on our website with your project idea. We’ll respond promptly to schedule a call or an in-person meeting. If you prefer email communication only, that's perfectly fine too!

    2. Consultation: During our consultation, we’ll discuss your vision for the final outcome. We value detailed input from you and encourage sharing mood boards or references to styles you like. This helps us understand your preferences and ensures we're aligned from the start. We’ll ask about your business, values, and goals. We also look at your current materials and competitors.

    3. Project Planning: We’ll offer our professional advice and outline what the final outcome could look like, based on your input. Clear and detailed communication is key, so don’t hesitate to provide as much information as possible.

    4. Design Phase: We’ll begin working on initial design ideas and keep you updated on our progress. If we need additional information, we’ll reach out to you. Your involvement is crucial, and we’ll ensure you’re informed every step of the way.

    5. Feedback and Revisions: Once we present the initial designs, we welcome your honest feedback. Revisions are a normal part of the creative process, and we’ll make adjustments until you’re completely satisfied with the result. We might offer suggestions that differ from your initial idea, but ultimately, your vision is our priority.

    6. Finalisation: After final approval, we’ll package the design files for print or digital use and deliver them to you. At this stage, we may also ask for a testimonial to feature on our website.

Post-Project Support: We’re here for any further requirements, questions, or concerns you might have after the project is completed. Our goal is to ensure your continued satisfaction with our work.
